Strengthening Cooperation with the Ministry of Social Development

His Excellency the Minister of Social Development receives a delegation from Barbar Charity Society, accompanied by His Excellency MP Dr. Mahdi Al-Shuweikh

As part of efforts to enhance cooperation between civil society institutions and government entities, a delegation from Barbar Charity Society paid a visit to His Excellency Osama bin Saleh Al-Alawi, Minister of Social Development, on Sunday, 16 March 2025, a meeting coordinated with the support of His Excellency MP Dr. Mahdi Al-Shuweikh.

The delegation included:

• Eng. Ali Sabt, Chairman of the Society
• Mr. Ahmed Al-Mahfouda, Vice Chairman
• Mr. Osama Al-Mahfouda, Head of Public Relations & Media Committee
• Mr. Mohammed bin Sayed Saeed Al-Wadaei, Administrative Director

During the meeting, they discussed a number of key topics related to strengthening the Society’s role in serving the community and developing its charitable and developmental initiatives.

The meeting was cordial and transparent, with His Excellency expressing strong interest in the Society’s proposals and a positive response toward enhancing collaboration.

This visit comes as part of the Society’s ongoing engagements with official institutions to reinforce partnership and support its mission of providing charitable and developmental services for the benefit of the Bahraini community.
